With incredibly talented musician and song-writing parents - Shane and Jennie - it was bound to happen that their five children would follow suit. This family band loves writing parodies, performing around town, and having a little fun making music! These Bandits are splitting their time this performance between music and acting. We're lucky to have a couple of their boys star on the stage as actors in Much Ado About Nothing.

Amber Brown loves Shakespeare, kids, and costumes, so All The World's a Stage TX is a perfect fit!
Amber learned to sew from her mother and by dismantling thrift store finds to learn clothing construction. As a teenager she started making her own clothes and doing side jobs in alterations, and has never stopped. She earned college scholarships for costume design, writing, and public speaking, and graduated in English from Brigham Young University. As a clothing designer, Amber has made everything from wedding dresses to functional mailbox costumes. She moonlights as a substitute teacher for Humble ISD. She is also the costume designer for Eagle Springs Elementary’s musical productions.

Michael's analytical mind and Carrie's artist eye set the stage for a dynamic duo.  Carrie has been creating art since she could pick up a crayon and loves teaching other's how to be creative, whether with a painted canvas or a finely crafted sentence. She's currently a teacher at Atascocita High School. Michael loves a good project and thrives on planning and executing his vision. From remodeling kitchens and building quail hutches to constructing elaborate Halloween costumes and cactuses, he loves the challenge of learning new skills that he didn't have before.  Completely self- taught, he is a master at paying close attention to detail and is always looking for opportunities to learn a new skill.

Alicia’s love for musical theater began when Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, and Singing in the Rain were entertainment staples of her childhood. Finding her passion for dance early in life she studied ballet, jazz and Broadway styles through her high school years. She played her first musical theater role in her high school’s production of Guys in Dolls, and was invited to be the assistant choreographer for the same play at a community theater later that year. She performed professionally in The Music Man at Sundance Summer Theater in Utah, and returned to her former high school to choreograph Bye, Bye, Birdie and Oklahoma. She received her BA in Dance from BYU, and danced for three years with their International Folk Dance Ensemble, learning tap, Irish hard shoe, and any other international style she could get her feet into. She’s spent fourteen years teaching and choreographing in her community, and looks forward to many more musical theater opportunities to come.

Amy loves dancing and has done it most of her life!  Her dancing dreams came true when she performed and competed for 4 years on the UVSC Ballroom Touring Dance Team.  She is a mother to four kids, loves teaching, and taking long walks in nature.  Amy now thoroughly enjoys teaching others how to dance and sharing that love and excitement with them. 

Michael Ross came from a very creative family and had many opportunities to cultivate imagination in his youth and has with his family now. Michael participated in a lot of theater performances at his Kansas high school. He had leading roles in plays and musicals, such as Music Man, Bye Bye, Birdie, Little Shop of Horrors, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Footloose, Snow White, South to Broadway, Good News, and Our Town. He was lucky enough to have an acclaimed high school theater director who insisted on producing elaborate sets, which led to many opportunities to learn all the ins and outs of the stage. Michael also sang in many choirs and loves photography and painting. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in business management and finance.

He has five kids who he's incredibly devoted to and loves cheering them on in their endeavors. He's thrilled to watch Kaleb play the witty Benedick. A favorite pastime is creating family Halloween costumes. Some of their favorites are Alice In Wonderland, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Men in Black. He loves decorating their house for Halloween. Growing up, Michael and his siblings were challenged by their father to create elaborate, spooky creations to delight and scare the neighbors, giving them many opportunities for creativity and innovation.

He loves movies and new technology and isn't afraid to just try something new.

Carrie DiVall has a Minor in Music from Brigham Young University. She co-directed a youth music/dance/theater summer camp, led children's choirs for many years, compiled and directed the music and sound for the A Midsummer Night's Dream production in 2022, taught piano for more than a decade, and has sung in many choirs over the years. She's the mother of five children and is thrilled to have three of them performing in Much Ado About Nothing.

Rachael is a super mom of five that has lived in the greater Kingwood/Atascocita area since 1995. Known for her supreme organizational prowess and knack for teaching kids, Rachael has been invaluable with procuring props and assisting with the behind-the-scenes work, cueing actors, and set changes. Tyler is a local photographer who has lived in the greater Atascocita area since 2007. A native of the West, Tyler specializes in landscape photography and has been photographing All The World's a Stage TX productions for two years. See more of his work on Instagram @tw_px.
